For those who are not proficient in Arabic "WAHAWI YA WAHAWI" is a song kids say when they knock on doors at night carrying lanterns (which has been a symbol of Ramadan)asking for a treat. This is what first came to mind. Second, almost every month some one sends me "Vegetables and fruits sculpture". So, I decided to do my own. I made The Ramadan Lantern of: "body, from a watermelon ; base is a loaf of bread; candle from a cucumber; and the flame from a radish." I hope you like it and appreciate the child that still vivdly alife in me!!! Ramadan Kareem to all.
