Ramadan Mubarak

The board of EAS would like to wish all Egyptian American Society members and friends a ‘Happy Ramadan” and hope for many returns with everyone in the best health and happiness. We also have the following announcements related to the blessed month:

  • After a survey of opinions on the possibility of having a meeting in Ramadan, it was quite clear that most members are quite busy and have other plans for the days, especially the weekends, of Ramadan. According, it was decided that there will NOT be a meeting for the Society this Ramadan.

  • Planning ahead for next month, we will meet on Saturday, October 20th, to celebrate the Eid together. Details will be announced soon. Please reserve that day for the meeting.

  • Dr. Ezzat is having a hip replacement operation on Friday Sept. 14th. We all wish him a speedy recovery and hope to see him back soon. Dr. Ezzat expressed his wish that, if any one would like to send him flowers or a gift, he/she, instead, donate the amount to the Society's Emergency Fund. The fund was established recently to cover emerging events that may overwhelm fellow egyptians in Houston. (For donations, please send check to the Society address in the right-side bar.)
