Dear EAS Members and Friends

If you have kids who do not know where to go in this heat in Houston or if you are a big fan of soccer and can’t seem to pass a single World Cup match or if you are an Egyptian who just likes our Society functions, then this function is yours.

Our June function is our last pre-summer break function, and it will be held
This Saturday, June 19th
in
George Bush Park, Pavilion 3, from 12:00pm to 5:00pm.

The dual theme of this function will be the
Beginning of the Summer
and the
Soccer World Cup

We will have water slides and water balloons for the kids, so kids need to be prepared with swim suits; otherwise, we are not responsible for any expensive clothes that get wet.

We will also have a TV to watch the World Cup match at 1:00pm. So, World Cup fans … come on down!!

To better plan for the function, please
RSVP by replying to this email with the total number in your party
(no difference between kids and adults)

Cost: $15
(Again, no difference between kids and adults, we will all have fun)

See you all there!!

EAS Meetings

The day of the Society's last meeting was a bit chilly, but the meeting was indeed warm with the attendance and the fun we all had. The adults enjoyed the company, the Arabic DJ and the group games, while the kids were having great fun with the face painting and the moonwalk.

This month, and due to the Spring Break, the Society meeting has been delayed to Saturday, March 27th. It will be an informal get-together, with the details to follow soon.

By public demand, next month we will have a repeat of last year's boat tour in the Ship Channel. Details on the date, RSVP, and the day program will be announced after the March 27th meeting.
Stay tuned, and we hope to see you all soon.
