Please update Your Contact Information

Dear EAS Member,

Recently, we have noticed that a number of the emails sent to the members are rejected due to invalid email addresses. At the same time, we are receiving comments from members that they do no receive the society's emails. Because of that and to be up to date with the members' information, we are currently updating the Society's database of members and their contact information.

Please send us your latest contact information; namely, your name, email address, and best phone number to reach you. One name per family is required, but you can put any number of individuals in your family and their individual contacts, if you wish.

Please forward this request to any member you know who does not receive our emails. If no response is received from a member, we will assume that his/her information in our database is current, and no correction or follow-up will be carried out.

Thank you for your cooperation and help in this.

Note: You can send your information to EgyptianAmericanSociety@yahoo.com , or using the "Comments" link at the bottom of this posting. Please note that when you submit your information using the "Comments" link, you will not be able to see what you submitted right away, but we will.

Victims of Virginia Tech Tragedy

Although most of us only heard about the incident through the media, no one should think he is too far from things like this happening to him or to a beloved one. The egyptian youth Waleed Shaalan is one who, unfortunately, was at the location of the horrible event, at the faitful time, and he and his family had to suffer the consequences. For more details about this, you can click here.

We encourage you all to donate generously for this humaniterian cause and support a family in need. May God reward you, bless you, and protect you and your families.

Old (and yet, Ever Young) Cairo

Dr. Ezzat has these interesting old pictures of Cairo to share. When I first saw them, I couldn't help but lose myself to those wonderful moments with the beauty and serenity of those days and that great city.
