A Call for Help
An Egyptian engineer recently relocated to Houston from Washington DC and was struck with a sudden stroke. He has been operated on and has been in the intensive care in the medical center for the past 10 days. His wife is a correspondent for Egyptian TV in Washington DC. She is here in Houston with him since the surgery. She is kind of overwhelmed with the happenings. The need comes in hosting their son Omar (9-10 years old) by families with sons in the same age bracket. He is staying in his dad's apartment which is a one bedroom (River Oaks area) most of the day time while his mother is attending to his father's care. The lady's name is Hanan Al Badri. People with recent memory may recognize the name because she was an TV anchor woman in Egypt. Her phone number is (202) 262 9595. Please, let's not to burden her with too many phone calls at this point. Once the situation change, I will let you know when you can contact and visit with them. Only, the kind families who can offer an outing for their son should call now.
May Allah gives him a speedy recovery and save you from sickness and hardships (Ameen)
Jazakom Allah Khyraa.
